I've had bunches over the years that didn't last long. Mirer (the original #3!), Chad Brown, and others I've forgotten. I bought Sherman before the Super Bowl, then Earl the year after that, and didn't get to wear either as long as I'd have liked for a $100+ piece of apparel. I had Wilson (as did my wife) for several years, and had a Cortez for a long while and gifted it to a friend. But at this point, I think I'll wear my retro Largent jersey to games from now on. I might purchase a "jersey T-shirt" if I really love a player, but the NFL shop isn't getting any more big purchases from me. Too many have just been short lived. Never cared for the #12, as much as I love the 'Hawks. Just has that "Wold's Best Dad" feel to it to me.
I forgot about 12 too (it's Monday) Other than 12, "NFL" = Not For Long. Any of em could be here today, gone tomorrow. I pick based on body of work, here or gone. I had to buy a 3 and 54. My favorite is a full NFL replica Lynch 24, picked up in a thrift shop for $15!
Darn I wrote this and pressed the wrong button. I bought a Canuck jersey for $25 Ryan Kessler he was good but got traded hurt and gone. I put my name on the back for $25 and I support the team. Victoria Chris Ps Diggs or Bellore would be my unlikely pick, but they are what appear to be good people and great players
>There’s no reward, that I can tell, for buying a player jersey before he blows up.
I bought Earl Thomas and 3 years later standing in line at the NFL Super Bowl shop in NYC a fellow wearing the Thomas II jersey remarked that he was jealous I had the rookie jersey before he added the II to his name
Currently I wear Dickson and have been happy with my choice
[The names that I think we can probably rule out because there’s a chance that they won’t even be starting for the Seahawks next season: Chris Carson (cut?), Drew Lock, Dee Eskridge.]
I can understand Carson & Lock, but ESKRIDGE???? I thought he had loads of potential.
The only current Seahawk I have a jersey of is Metcalf. But I only get jerseys of the players I really liked, and still wear them proudly. Lynch, Chancellor, Thomas, Sherman, Bennett, Largent, among others. My next target is a Cortez jersey. I also like to buy jerseys on a discount, so I may load up with another Russell and/or another Bobby. That explains my ownership of a Harvin jersey. Current player is probably going to be Dickson, Diggs, or Lockett.
I the ever changing world of NFL rosters, truthfully, no jersery is safe to purchase. However, other than the 11 different Wilson 3 jerseys that I have, I have from the current roster, Metcalf and Ford. The only 'safe' jerseys to buy are of course 12 and 80. I also feel it is safe to purchase almost any of the Ring of Honor jerseys (although you will never find an 8 in my closet). Personally, I think a Lynch 24 jersey will also always be safe. There is only one Beast Mode.

Lets make Dickson the top selling punter jersey of all time!!!

Transcendent numbers!
Best, for resourcefulness, by far - #6 Diggs ...
if he's traded or falls out some other way, you can always
grab a clipboard,
grow some facial hair, and
tape "Whiteguy" over "Diggs" - people will worship you!
Best comment #12 I forgot well done Doug

Hey good point!
Will Dissley
Damn, Will Dissly IS a good choice. Great call, Susan.

He might not be starting, it doesn't mean he won't be good or have potential.

Best bet for "safe" Jersey number? 12. You can take that to the bank. Trust me on this one.
DOUG HOW DID I FORGET ABOUT 12?!?!
