The most valuable lesson that I learned when I started meditating was “never judge your sits”. In other words, no matter what happens during your 15-30 minutes of meditating, whether you achieve transcendence or spend the other time thinking about your Taco Bell order, don’t judge yourself for it because you meditated.

The Seahawks beat the Jets 26-21 and it’s tempting to stop the story there and reserve judgment because I’m not sure which of these two teams spent more time thinking about the cheesy gordita crunch instead of football.

The Good News

The West is almost won

Two weeks ago, the Seahawks had less than a 5% chance to make the playoffs and right now they’re at 40%. If they beat the Cardinals next week, Seattle will have all but locked up the NFC West title with four games left in the season and according to NY Times those odds would increase to 70%+.

Arizona blew a lead to the Vikings and lost, so the Seahawks will essentially have a 3-game lead over the Cardinals if they beat them next week.

The 49ers and Rams aren’t out of it, but they both play the Bills (SF tonight, L.A. next week) and then they play each other in Week 15, so it would be difficult for either to catch Seattle if the Seahawks do end up at 8-5.

This would have been Leonard’s best game as a Seahawk if not for the game he had last week against the Cardinals, and this still might be better than that.

There’s an odd comparison I have for Leonard Williams: Marshawn Lynch. Here’s why:
