If I'm going to elevate one guy from the Sleepers to the Big Bracket, it's Ty Okada. I really think he's going to be important in replacing of Coby Bryant, at least until Bud Clark can catch up to the NFL game. Even then, being able to keep the Safeties fresh will be huge. To make room, I'd bounce Nwosu. Uch is important, of course, but I rank his success as the least critical of your Top-12.
I'm gonna take a leap of faith that Bud Clark will start over Okada and should take the number 12 spot from JReed in the rankings. Plus, our interior D-line depth is better than our secondary. I think both Clark and Okada could be more vital to defensive success, even if JReed is a better overall player.
Ok the offense 7-10 was a tough one. And that was completely unfair to pit JReed with NickE. Totally unfair. EJ isn’t EJ w/o JReed in the middle. Unfair I tell ya. As Zez says and you wrote, this truly is an amazing thing to think about. How deep it is. ST. I mean all 5 are guys who can do things. Horton if healthy gives STs a scoring component. As does Holani on kickoffs (thank you Steelers)!!!! Personally I went with the Aussie simply because our schedule more difficult so pinning offenses deeper should help with field position game. But what a cool article. Going to be interesting to see. And when Big Cat gets called got Gold jacket fitting I hope he does so as a Hawk. Oh and waiting on the BWagz JS signing for retirement purposes.
Going to make for a fun season I believe. And haven’t read yesterday’s article yet but yes could it be that almost no Vet Hawk will be cut? I’m excited. Love me great defenses. JReed at 12 on a defense is insane (in a positive way).
Other comment is I remember those 2012-2015 teams when anyone we put on the waiver wire got picked up by another team. Something like 15 wire pick-ups (pick-offs?) one of those years. Gonna happen to us again. I'll bet we're going to be #1 in wire losses (unfortunately)
Yeah, dammit. JS was doing so well with his guessing last year. Comes a point where every one of these guys is invaluable. I read that Bryant is inundated with questions about how things are done.
Crazy cool survey and it makes the point: this is a very deep team with no apparent "fatal flaw" holes, even two deep. Truly next man up.
Which is why our special teams are so absurdly strong. You've got NFL starters or quasi-starters on a SB-winning team out there.
I even thing Drew Lock is a legit potential starter for us at this point. Wouldn't be surprised if he played at Daniel Jones level (they're carbon copies):
Think you did a great job on the seeding and already was massively tough to choose between two. Toughest was Bradford vs AJ, no doubt AJ is the better player but having a worse right guard would scare the living crap out of me and blow up both the run and pass game. Went with Bradford therefore although it surprised the heck out of me. Think we finally have the trenches strength I've always dreamed of and I have a feeling those two lines are going to carry alot of weight as this progresses. But matching them the way you did makes this extremely fun, well done sir!!
Does anyone want to try their hand on a bracket for offense and defense?
Post yours below!
Dickson is the highest paid punter for a reason. Nuff said…
Nick E, EJ and JLove deserved Bye consideration but to argue against who got Byes too! Shows the D depth of the team.
I went against the grain as it turns out and went with Shaheed over Price because Shaheed could impact two of the three phases of the game.
This will help us get to training camp…
Fun game. I like the idea. Love all my Seahawks
What FUN!! Well done, SSJ!!

Thank you SSJ!
We are in FB “dead time” between OTA’s and Training Camp but your clever articles keep our FB “fires in the belly” stoked!!
Grateful!!

Never a dull read. I want to see the least-likely guys knowing they have a fan base. Folks are watching, Guys!
Most definitely. Fans for everyone.

Deep, deep, deep pockets on this roster.

Most definitely gonna be a popular team to watch by other teams on cut day.

Wonder if they have a final playbook for after final cutdowns.

Other than Woolen, I don't recall any Support Guys getting picked on when they came in.
Can I just vote for Sam right now?
No! Must wait!
