It seems like most folks took the same approach I did - I felt like I had to choose one O lineman and one D lineman. Truly a Sophie’s Choice for a Seahawks fan.
This is fun. I feel like Sam Darnold will ultimately win but Byron Murphy might be responsible for the largest win-over-replacement gap if he was lost. It would just be a huge hole in the middle of our defense. Similar to Emmanwori and what he unlocks for our D.
Cross over Williams. LT is the most vital part of the OLine, the most vital line. Ergo, more important to immediate 2026 success. Williams is a great player, but I'd also say MM is already planning for when he does retire and therefore he is more replaceable in the short term.
Jones over JSN. That MLB role is one constantly overlooked on defence and Jones plays it so well. JSN is a phenomenal player, probably the most talented on the 'Hawks for 2026. But i believe if he went of the field we can find a way to still suceed with Kupp, Shaheed, Horton, Bobo, Barner, Arroyo, Saubert, Kallerup, Outz, Price, Holani, Charbie - holy sh*t is our offence stacked
Sam over Nick. I mean, it's the QB. It wins every match-up. Especially because we know what the bad version of Sam is, and it'd cripple this team. Whilst we know how good he can be, and that takes us to the SB again. So yeah, it's Sam without a question.
Byron over Ol' Abe. This is the closest pairing for me. Abe is very important, but if I took him away from the OLine it could still function. If I took Murphy from the DLine i think it's more likely to fall apart. Tough call, as we have some good second stringers at both positions as well.
I had to vote for one Bracket upset, because there's no way all four favorites make it to the semi's... or is there? There's an argument for every guy on this list to be the MVP (Most Vital Player) of the 2026 Seahawks. Such fun!! Thanks, SSJ.

I preferred my “what, E-man-worri?” joke from the playoffs 😀

I'm hoping for an upset! None in particular, but that would be interesting.
