It’s AJ for me. I can see Fleury, a TE coach, leaning into him heavily in the new offence, and AJ showed enough last year that he really could be one of the best in the league. But he is ranked 11th, so that means he’d have to break the top 10. Hmm….

This whole exercise feels really sweet though - it wasn’t so long ago we’d have a great top 5 and then be struggling. The depth this year looks tremendous.

Concerning Gray Zabel:

I don't watch much video, but I loved the conversation between future HoF Calais Campbell and our favorite rookie left guard. CC said, "I've got 215 sacks," and GZ said, "But you didn't get 216 off of me." Take that! Somewhere else in the season, GZ told Larry "Big Cat" Willems, of all people, how to attack an offensive lineman. Well, Oh F****ing K. I'll just do what the rookie tells me and move on with my career. And it worked.

Can we please draft the next 40 or 50 Grey Zabels?

“Larry Willems”! Ray’s inner John Clayton emerges!

My fave Claytonism is the time he told a baffled caller that Phoenix would take “Skyler Murphy” #1 overall. Kyler Murray will always be “Skyler” to me.

My bad. I type faster than I think, and I'm a really slow typist. Sorry Leonard. Being compared to John Clayton, the god who walked among us, is the highest complement I've ever gotten, after my mother was impressed that I graduated from high school sixty-some years ago.

Julian Love was arguably out best player the year before last. I expect he'll be more healthy and bring his A game again. Watch out.

Sorry SSJ, I can't vote in the poll this time. No one deserves to be ahead of the next man above. I think you pegged it.
