I’m for Dickson Hall of Fame! šŸ’™šŸ’ššŸ’ŖšŸ¦µ

It doesn't seem right putting the rookie higher than ZC on your list: assigning Price that level of 'importance' before he does anything in the league. Especially since the backfield won the championship the year before.

I thought that too kinda. But with the caveats that Charbs IS hurt and Price IS still an unknown commodity. Hard to rank those things at this time.

Predicting Price is extremely hard. It is possible you are right and he struggles, but it is also possible he has a great season and is an important pice of the offense. I trust JS/MM/BF and the Seahawk scouts to view him as a big talent for them to select him at 32. Sure they could all be wrong, but they have a hell of a record since the 2022 draft class. I’m not fool enough to bet against them. I don’t think we should expect any significant impact for Charbs until December. Wouldn’t it be nice if the Christmas Day game is his breakout ā€˜I’m Back!’ Performance?

Yes! they do have a pretty fantastic track record and I have no-doubt the odds of Price meeting expectations are pretty high. My comment is more regards to the position that he plays and the NFL data-less enigma that he is. There is consistent talk of ZC playing earlier than expected and he has performed monstrously when given RB1 responsibilities in the past. Thinking maybe they should have been back to back or something with ZC getting the edge.

J Price is probably the hardest Seahawk to peg down for how he will perform this season. Watching his college film, it’s possible to see him in this very friendly wide zone Seahawk offense getting over 1000 yards and taking the OROY award. But due to his lack of starting RB time in college, and his limited workload, it is also possible to imagine he’s not able to handle the load of RB1A in the NFL. I’m going with the potential that I see in him and his ability to step into the starting role. I’ve said that I have more concern over the year Price will have vs Fleury. I am a believer that the Seahawks offense with Fleury at the helm will improve over last year’s Kubiak offense. If Fleury AND Price are hits, and Charbs is back to form by Dec 1st, this will be a very explosive offense that combined with the defense and special teams will provide the fans with a historic season.

Well, dang, I voted Drake Thomas as being ranked too low. However, I wanted you to ask who is ranked too high, and I was going to vote for Charbonnet, because there is a pretty good chance he won't be fully recovered and playing well below what we have come to expect from him, and i think Wilson is ranked way too low relative to the other running backs. Charbonnet may never see the field this year and then he would probably have to take a mighty low second contract or he will be gone. He is not a feature back and Wilson may actually perform even better than we have come to expect of Charbonnet. I hope Price earns a lot of play time and justify his draft spot. In which case, it will be higher for Price and Wilson next year, and Charbonnet will probably not be on our team at all. In fact, i will predict that right now. Reed is probably going to fall off this list completely because he is the next most likely in my opinion of not being on the team at all next year. Those are my thoughts and why I have them. Good luck to all of them, though.

Steven, I voted for Drake too - pretty much every down impact player on Defense and very aggressive/ active in PBU’s.

I love Dickson, but limited plays for punters

I also love Charbs, but injury and 1/2 offensive snaps have him too high

J. Reed on downside of usage

Price talented but totally unproven..

Thanks Bill. We can start a fan club for Drake Thomas who surprised me last year, and that's for sure. I don't expect him to drop off, and i think he can still get better.

I’m with you on Dickson. Meaning, if you were to tell me either of them had just retired, I’d be substantially more worried about who’s our next punter than who’s our next kicker. Although I must return to your unique perspective on special teams: Seattle has made it a point of difference, and having Dickson and soon Myers in the top 22 says it all!!
