Nice clip on Arroyo. He’s over 250 pounds and moves so well! Football fast, not track and field fast. I know JS loves to get info on the GPS speed of players on the field during real football plays. There are quite a few players on this team that play faster than their 40 time.
I have to believe there is a competition at RG, regardless of what people are saying. (Corbin Smith for one) I grant you it’s Bradford’s job to lose, and maybe, as happened last year, no one steps up and takes it from him. I believe Bradford could play better than he did last year, but if someone does step up and takes the starting job, that will mean the O-line just got even better. I just can’t believe that there won’t be a battle for the job at RG. Bradford just doesn’t move well laterally or getting to the second level or getting downfield. This is a flaw when playing in a wide zone run game.
Correction: When I wrote "that's the case for majority of players in the NFL", I was referring to age. This looks like I mean that the majority of players in the NFL make at least $30 million. That's not even close to accurate. Have changed the article.
Do good, Tony!!
