I completely forgot about that original injury. I recall his return. I was one of the few fans at Seahawks stadium that saw him in STs and noted it. Everyone around started pointing to him too and happy to see him out there.
I feel bad for K-Mac but the NFL is cruel to many players, either through injury, roster cuts, or just not the right opportunities. Hopefully he finds a path back. RB depth will likely be tested before the season is over.
If Sims makes the team as a returner, he doesn't necessarily take away a WR spot. They could just keep 1 fewer RB, as if he is KMc. He could be listed as a WR, LB, or LS. If he isn't going to play WR snaps, they still need WRs. So, maybe Stills (RB) makes the team, and they still (no pun intended) end up with 6 WRs other than him. Problem is that KMc was fighting a battle to make the team at RB already. We need at least 3 RBs with a couple on the PS if possible. Y'all remember the year we used 6 guys? Had to call Alex Collins in off the street (and he played well). I would love to see Pritchett and Horton win KR spots due to their abilities at their regular positions, so we could keep more depth.
They don't have to list him at any position, only as KR. But it still takes one spot on the 53 man roster, so that spot will have to come from somewhere. Someone won't make it if he does.
A tough NFL start injury-wise...hope McIntosh can beat the odds. To overcome his injury prone start AND beat out the talent of his RB peers is an uphill grind. Must be heart breaking for the young man...I feel for him. As they say, "The fondest dreams of mice and Running Backs oft...yadda, yadda...".
Injuries suck, but I don't think it has any affect on the team, moving forward. I didn't have McIntosh making the final 53 anyway and his contributions were replacement level.

Sorry Kenny Mac, really liked you, but don't want the return of the CJ Prosise dilemma.
They could always try Christian Haynes. He could snap the ball to himself.

Very sad for Kmac. I think Bobo is on the team, Mike said as much at a press conference.

I want a dynamic put/kickoff returner and I don’t care who it is!!!

I'm seeing his college experience at Safety attracting MM's diversity attention.
Here's hoping that Mr. McIntosh heals well. He'll be studying game film 'n returns strong.
What a shame. I was always a KMac fan. He never really disappointed when he got his chances.
