It's interesting how Lock's last play tamped down the expectations for him. If instead of that strip sack Lock goes down and gets the winning points, the narrative would be set for him to be the starter. I still think he showed enough to get the start with the 1s on Thursday but we'll see. But... the point that the 2023 QB is not on the roster is a good one to keep in mind.

These preseason game reps for the rookie CBs are gold--and will accelerate their development. Love what I am seeing so far.

I don't see Coleman making the 53, nor Gabe Jackson either. I agree one of the WRs (likely Goodwin) will be a placeholder for Eskridge.

And yay! Short week to Thursday!

After the first preseason game, Lock looks allot sharper than Smith. Lock will probably get the starting QB role for the season? But it has been my belief, all along, that Lock or Smith would be only temporary QBs to get the team thru the 2022 season; And the Seahawks would then draft a quality QB, for a long term contract, from the next college draft.
