They didn't make Bob Condotta's top-60 Seahawks: Will any make the final 53?
Evaluating the outside-bubble Seahawks players entering training camp: Seaside Joe 1964
Bob Condotta is ranking all 89* players on the Seahawks ahead of training camp and he posted part two on Wednesday. Can you make the final 53 if you’re not even in the top-60? Sure and some of these names would seem to have a very good opportunity to make the team.
We’ll run through the names ranked 61-75 together and vote on the most likely player to make the final roster at the end.
*The Seahawks signed receiver Marcus Simms on Tuesday, which was after Condotta started ranking the players when Seattle only had 89 players under contract. It’s fair to assume that Simms would not have made Condotta’s top-75 or even top-88.
We are now at Seaside Joe 1964. That’s 1,964 days in a row of sending out a Seahawks newsletter. Were you born in 1964? Shout yourself out in the comments when we get to the year you were born. My apologies to everyone born before 1964 that I didn’t think of this idea until now.
Now I’m not a Seattle Times subscriber right now (from what I understand, Seaside Joe is a much better bargain for Seahawks fans who would only use the Times for Seahawks content) but Condotta’s article is free to read as far as I can tell, so I assume this is not violating any paywall to give out his list. For the record, I would not break anyone’s paywall and I respect that the Times (or anyone) would want to have certain information be paid for in order to run a business.
If I’ve somehow accessed the article by error, I apologize to B. Con. But this seems like it is a freebie, therefore all I’m actually doing is promoting the Seattle Times. When will the Seattle Times promote us? Day 2,000? It’s only a month away!
As far as Seahawks 76-89, that is behind a paywall, so by all means read it if you’re paying for the Times or would pay for the Times. It’s only $1 for the first month, that’s a good deal. Then I think it goes up to $20 per month. Seaside Joe is $5 per month, which you can lock in for life—even if the price goes up in the future—by signing up today:
