I didn’t know what a royal rumble is until just now! Seaside Jay is way ahead of me. In many ways, I’m sure.
FWIW, Ray Roberts says Haynes is a much more polished player than Stephens. He doubts that Haynes has the “girth” (his word) required to start, but likes his overall game. According to Roberts, Stephens has a ways to go, which is unfortunate because he has neither size nor athleticism. In the end, what John Benton thinks is what counts—Haynes’ immediate future may well depend on Benton’s assessment of Stephens’ potential.
I’m most curious about Clark, so that’s who I’m most looking forward to seeing play.
I hope Bud Clark plays a lot tomorrow, simply to get more game reps. IMO, rookies need those reps if they’re to make any impact this season. Same with Price.
Re: Royal Rumble video > this is ripe for a Ben Stiller-style parody, with todays chiseled abs and heads of hair hahaha
