OK, Sam Howell this year 'n Grayson McCall next year. Hawks blow away any and all defenses with 2 superb QBs playing at the same time. No need for a fleaflicker. Howell looks like he could also return kickoffs 'n punts too. Dynamic.

He's a 4-way player!

Please , please check out Carson Strong from Nevada. Played in a non major conference team and is the most NFL ready QB. Strong arm, accurate, quick release , mobile and can go through his progressions. Steal in late 2nd or early 3rd. Will be 1st year starter on the Hawks if they draft him.

Reminds me of a young Joe Montana. Remember Joe was a 3rd round pic.

Chris I do not think Carolina has a second round pick. I believe they traded it to New York for Sam Darnold. Mistakes have a way of compounding themselves. That being said no team needs to trade down more than Carolina. They just had Darnold in for a private workout so they are not hiding their interest. But if they cannot trade down it would take huge balls to take a swing on a player that is ranked 4/5 by the know-it-alls with the 6th pick. Most likely case is that Howell is there at 40 / 41. By the way Kenneth just likes bargain basement QBs in the draft this year. So Strong / Howell. Missing on 1 of 2 second round picks just doesn’t hurt as much, that is until Malik becomes the next Lamar Jackson - (I don’t see it but I thought Joe Burrows was the next Baker Mayfield.)

I actually had Burrows and Mayfield right. Joe Cool ll while Baker is the antithesis of that. I will give Baker credit for being a tough son of a gun. If he comes out the other side he could be good enough. Seattle preaches competition there is no better way than having 4 QBs looking for the one job. Thanks you are right the Panthers don't have a second rounder my mistake. Let's call it over exuberant on Sammy

Well you finally hit on the two QBs I like Matt Corral and Sam Howell. If I were P or J I wouldn't let Howell, past 41. I don't think you can count on 32 teams sleeping on another good prospect until round 3. I think Howell is every bit as good a QB as anyone taken last year. Corral smells and tastes like he will be a Steeler. The monkey wrench would be if Carolina could hold their water until the second round, or maybe they go with what you talking about Willis. There is no shame drafting a QB two years in a row if need be. Just maybe Pete and the boys can coach up Lock well enough and Howell can sit until 4 games to go. Waiting until round 3 is Carson Strong. Pete wants mobility because as a defensive coach nothing is harder to game plan against. Just quickly I only look in on college football but even I remember hearing that Howell did not have a great situation for this past season, last September. An arm and 7 /100 yard rushing games wow. Sorry one more thought, Baker has always thought of himself to be a faster runner than he is, and there in lies one noticeable problem, and why we won't take him even for free.
