Seems like Tomlinson played to his grade so not sure I see that as stock down. Also not sure why Metcalf is not on stock down, similar to Jones with compensation too high for contribution. Certainly didn't play to the level of the score you gave him.
I agree. DK has got to be more susceptible to the stock down category given the expectations that come with a high score, even if we ignore his financial compensation. JSN and Noah Fant probably deserve this same criticism for week one based on their pre-season scores. Pass catchers might be the most difficult to evaluate on a game-to-game basis because of how dependent they are on someone else (Geno) to make them look good. The guards were bad, but we expect them to be bad (though, maybe not that bad).
I thought a lot about those 2 Sacks now. Love those plays....containing a young, mobile QB to the sidelines is more of an accomplishment to me than getting a sack when the QB is essentially running into you which happens all the time.
What if every week every player got a plus, check, or minus based on if they exceeded, met, or failed to meet their pre-season value, based on the close yours eyes test? Then, at week 9, you can say "dang, player X outperformed his preseason value Y number of times in Z number of opportunities. His score ought to go up, so let's think about what he did right to boost his value."
I like that idea. It would be interesting to have SJ do that and then have a separate crowd sourced ranking with interested readers giving the same plus, check or minus each week. Keep the results confidential until after a certain time so not swaying people by other's votes.
"embarrassing conversation I had in the ninth grade".
Reminds me of this girl I had a huge crush on in highschool and only ten years later realized she really liked me too. We at least ended up being really good friends, but man, I wish I would have gone for it.

I forgot the Seahawks are naming new captains every week, so DreMont against the Broncos makes sense.
