The Seahawks have the second-best Super Bowl odds in the NFC behind the L.A. Rams, according to FTNFantasy: 13.5%. These are not the same as the Vegas odds or predictions you’ll see anywhere else, but FTN thinks the Seahawks have a 96.7% chance to make the playoffs and a 14.5% chance to earn the 1-seed.

The problem is that the Rams have a 57.4% chance to get the 1-seed.

That means that the Seahawks are 50/50 to end up with the 5-seed, dwarfing chances of all other NFC teams for that spot, meaning that there’s a very real possibility that Seattle’s wild card game will be on the road against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

You could do worse.

That being said, if the Seahawks beat the Rams, they could flip this race on its head depending on what happens in the rest of the games.
