On a side note, one thing PC and Geno can be happy about it’s halfway through the 3rd Quarter and Geno has yet to I throw an INT. Solid improvement!

Sarcasm at it's finest ! I bet Geno is really feeling the love and appreciation from all those Raider fans that he never got in Seattle.

I firmly believe that the most important player for us will be future Hall of Famer Anthony Bradford, if he manages to fall down in front of a Texan lineman. Hey, it could happen.

I wonder what JS and his scouts think about Powers-Johnson. He is a center, but you could slide Sundell to RG, and perhaps Sundell would do better at Rg than he’s doing at center?

They've subbed in Pickett who went 2-2 for 8 yards (yawn).

Pete's gotta be under tremendous pressure. Team looks very bad and it ain't Geno that's going to save him

The reason Geno hasn't thrown a pick is because they haven't gotten anywhere near the red zone! Does JS look good for dumping Geno, or what?

Fire sale about to happen. Too bad Crosby got hurt. Maybe we can take a fly on Powers-Johnson (center?)

Jackson Powers-Johnson's scouting report highlights his elite size, power, and athletic ability, which make him a dominant interior offensive lineman with Pro Bowl potential. His strengths include a powerful upper body, strong hands, and good balance and agility for his size, making him effective in both run and pass blocking across different schemes. His weaknesses are primarily technical, including occasional upright play, inconsistency with pad level, and needing to improve quickness to avoid oversetting against wider rushers.

Maxx Crosby, Powers-Johnson and Brock Browers would be nice 🤣

Another side note, the Dolphins are done. They want to fire their coach, but no one wants the job.

31-0 and about to enter the 4th qtr, with less than 100 yards of offense total, while Chiefs are at 400 and over 100 yds rushing.

Still waiting for Geno Jordan-Kobe to join with his new more-competitive-than-Seattle teammates and Always Compete

Shh. We (PC & Geno) need to celebrate the little victories, It’s the 4th Quarter and still no INT! With Mahomes on the sideline, Geno could be the best QB in the game.

This feels like a trap game for sure. I want to see us control the trenches. We control those and it's pretty well in control. If their ends are pressing we've got to counter it with quick hitters and other plays that water down the effectiveness of those edge defenders.

Bobo. For something different KK goes to a triple wide-out set and B gets in the game as a change from Tory. They try to cover him with a nickel/lb/safety and he keeps burning them. He only gets one TD but he helps move the team into position for multiple scores so they run the triple set for most of the game.

On defense we go to a dime package. We get multiple picks and respond quick enough to shut down the run game.

More Bobo making a comeback?

Not a comeback, just a change to throw off the other team.

I go to one Seahawks home game every year. For many years now I have picked the Rams as the opponent. (I feel they do the best job of exposing who the Seahawks really are.) This year, I broke tradition and am going to the Texans game. Partly, because the Rams game came too late in the year and partly because this team reminds me of the Seahawks under Pete.

This is Monday Night Football week seven. We have started to make a name for ourselves on both sides of the ball, but this is our prove it game for most viewers. If we put the Texans down, I think we can get some real respect. If we lose or fall into a last second win, I think the Seahawks will be seen as mediocre regardless of our record at the end.

You asked who the five most important players are this week and I have no idea as usual. I do know that the NFL world will be watching tomorrow and it is time for MM and company (and the 12's for that matter) to make a statement and tell everyone who we are.

I don't think we get any respect until we win the division. Until then we are a second fiddle to the Rams and 49ers. We could also get respect by doing what Washington did and make the NFC championship game as a wild card.

It’s funny how people still discount the Seahawks. In reality, they are perhaps one last play from beating the 49ers and being 5 and 1, and one last play from beating the Bucs and being 6 and 0. They deserve respect.

My five most important players for this game?

1. Abe Lucas

2. Charles Cross

3. Anthony Bradford (gulp...)

4. Jalen Sundell (gulp....)

5. Grey Zabel

If our OL can get the run game going so

the Texans can't pin their ears back and have to load the box; and if they can keep Darnold moderately clean in the pocket, Seattle wins

Thnx for the early relief, SSJ. How cool is it Fox fails to see us as a mere threat for being The Best in football right now? Shhh. Secret. OUR secret. Bradshaw likes the Rams. HA. Let's hope the 12s reverse the curse of our home field games. C'mon folks! The Boyz have enough on their plate. They are showing up in every game. Do the same.

My theory about why the Seahawks have been losing at home is that the opposing offense says, “OMG. The 12s! It will be loud. We need to focus and work hard on hand signals and silent counts.” Meanwhile, our defense says, “We got the 12s again. Same old hand signals. We can relax this week.”

That makes MM the most important person this week. Mix things up a bit to keep the players focused. Instill urgency. Make every player pissed off at our recent home record. Do the emotional equivalent of passing around smelling salts. Reclaim our turf.

I believe the most important player is Darnold, but only because your question specifically asked for "players." The most important person, imo, is Kubiak.

I think this game hinges upon Darnold's ability to smoothly execute a plan that Kubiak must put together to take advantage of edge rushers who want to get up field, and which balances the risk those edge rushers create. I believe there will be a need to get rid of the ball promptly to avoid quickly-collapsing pockets. But I think their corners will know that and will be very tight on the short routes.

I sincerely hope that Kubiak is able to utilize draw plays and other run schemes to slow down that pass rush.

Darnold, certainly. But i'm looking at Murphy right now. He's establishing the competition for QB scalps, which relieves our backfield's concerns. I am expecting our Defense will begin putting up points on their own.

1. For my top standouts, one has to be either Murphy or Big Cat. I’d love it to be Murphy to continue his ascendancy, but I think it’s time for Leo to be that game wrecker.

2. I see big nickel playing Emmanwori picking it off and taking it to the house. If Spoon plays, I’d prefer to see him with a pick 6, but my gut says it will be the rookie.

3. Does anyone else feel that Chenna is looking as if he has returned to what he was in his 1st year with the Hawks before his 1st injury? Maybe he makes Mafe expendable with another big game.

4. The Seahawks first play from scrimmage in 12 personnel will be a play action pass to JSN for a 71 yard TD. That being said, I’d love for Arroyo to break out with a big game, but I think the TE that hits on Monday night is Barner. Another RedZone TD catch and once again he catches everything that’s thrown in his direction. My lofty expectations for Barner has been 10+ TDs and to push for a pro bowl season. Did anyone else notice that both of Aaron Rogers INTs last week were on targets to DK? The first one was Rogers’ fault for throwing into double coverage, but DK made zero attempt to break it up. Back in my day as a lame ass TE/WR, I was coached that if you can’t make the catch, you become the DB and break up the potential INT. Maybe that doesn’t apply to prima Donna’s like DK.

5. Going forward for the hawks, the best player on offense to have a breakout game for the future success of the Seahawks season has to be K9. Maybe the wide zone blocking scheme comes together and K9 hits 3 explosive rune and goes over 100 yards. Let’s make sure the Seahawks face stacked 8 man boxes all season making it easy for JSN to hit 2000 yards ;)

1: Murph, definitely. I suspect BC and D-Law are doing veteran stuff and know how important it is to help our young man feast right now. Gimmicks abound.

2: How about both? No more lime-light focus, (Woolen).

3: WhoDat? on Chenna! He's been but a shadow of his preseason cheap-shot self. He's coming back, with a vengeance.

4: DK is the poster child of athletes playing football. Having the ball removed from his grasp was classic. Who better to replace him but Coop?

5: HooAh.

If D-Law stays healthy, he and Chenna could be awesome combo at Edge. Both play tough against the run and could be solid pass rushers, especially the way they play in combination with the DT on their side.
