Ur words are prophetic in retrospect! I think Seattle had already made an Erik Medard sacrifices by trading for Jamal Adams 2 years prior!

I wouldn't give Minnesota a bag of footballs for Kirk Cousins. I would however be very interested in DeShawn Watson. Watson is a proven star and eight years younger than Russell. I don't know what John and Pete have planned. The only reason to play Drew loch is to assure you don't win many games and get the quarterback you want in next years draft. Cousins and Watson are not comparable. Why would you not want Watson, by all accounts he is a leader and likable chap. I certainly wouldn't give up this year's first rounder, but I would give up one of next year's first rounder. He is a fantastic player and everybody deserves a second chance. Can you say why you would not want a proven 25 year old top 7 or 8 quarterback in the league ? Victoria Chris Ps my plan would be to bring in Marcus Mariota on a prove it deal if Watson was or wasn't available.

22 civil cases pending against watson. not someone you want as your franchise, until these are resolved one way or another.

The only thing holding back a trade is the criminal case, which who knows what that decision will be. It is only a couple of weeks until that is decided. The civil cases were almost solved with 18 out off 22 women agreeing to terms. One thing I find bizzare is the money that is being discussed, to me would be a lot, but to him not even a game cheque. I appreciate you replying, this is a good forum for Seahawk talk
