This is the decoy before we announce Myles. Makes fans go "huh?", lulls us into a false mindset. Then BAM! Myles coming to the PNW. Trust me, i have no sources or inside knowledge, only wishful thinking.
What surprises me about this trade is they just drafted a guy in the 6th round who seemed a fit for this role. Can’t imagine both of them making the team.
It's a "conditional" 2028 7th round pick That means something like it is conditioned on his making the team, or that he plays so many snaps. It's nearly nothing at all.
From the video, it looks like he will fit right in. Hopefully, he’s well recovered, wins the job, and takes the position to the next level.
Who knows? He might even get some red zone snaps, given his size. Fleury is a TE guy who might also like big bodied receivers when the field gets compressed.
That's how Jake Bobo got the TD in the Rams NFCCG. They prioritized JSN and Barner and had 180 pound Cobie Durant on Bobo who easily shook him on a corner post into the end zone.
Came to post and you already have a write up. Thought they drafted the Dareke “replacement” (easier said than done) but apparently OTAs not panning out as desired. If true this will put the last spot in WR or Db room in question
Sounds like he has talent and excellent size for a gunner. I think you nailed it when you said the Seahawks really, really, REALLY want to be the best ST unit in the NFL. I think the pick we sent was not only two years away, but “conditional.” Does that mean if he doesn’t make the team we get it back?
I had just posted on him when I first heard of this -- he was impactful enough (and specifically against us) for him to earn a Baldy's Breakdown

... be a receiver that our opponent knows nothing about, doesn't take seriously 'n BOOM !

No stone unturned. I like it.
You are right, I missed the word "conditional" so it's even cheaper than I thought.
If he makes the 53 he’s worth it. If not it probably only cost a few bucks and we get the pick back. MM has JS chasing edges too. ;)
