Coach Mac and all need to be ready and prepared. We still have not played a full 4 quarter game all season in my opinion on either side of the ball. Carolina is near a decade plus best ever so is motivated. I truly hope the 500 yards of Stafford is fodder for the defense so the Carolina Reaper (Young) doesn’t beat us. Panthers defense isn’t horrible. One game at a time. But do like the Whiners losing this week/rest starters week 18 narrative.
In their last 4 wins, all by 3 points, Carolina was the last team to score. They were either behind or tied and then scored to win. It would be good to have at least a 12-point lead going into the last 5 minutes.
The Hawks are better than both teams on their schedule and it feels like they have spent the past two weeks in a news cycle (Rivers, then Rams) rather than just playing a football game. Go to Carolina, take care of business like they have all season, and then just beat the Niners and call it good. Simple!
>>"— but the Rams had at least this much confidence when they lost in Carolina three weeks ago as 10-point favorites."<< This time, we expect that Team to show up. So do their fans. Are their Bruisers still playing?
The next 2 week are the best opportunity for SD to shift any narratives surrounding him. A convincing win over Carolina, and at least a low turnover win against SF, could do a lot for his image. Any other result, and I worry that the same things talked about in Minn will come up in Sea.
It's the next 2 weeks for sure, but really it's every game until the season ends for Darnold. He'll need to finish the year strong, win or lose, to erase his narrative.
I remember PC and players talking about going 1-0 each week and not worrying about things out of their control. It seems MM and crew have that exact same mindset so I doubt if they are overlooking anyone, ever!
Scenarios are interesting for us, but the Seahawks will just go about their business. Prepare and then play the next game. That's all they can do. Hopefully the past few days has given them a chance to recuperate from a tough game, and they're ready to roll at practice this week.
Seattle has won some tough games this year playing no where near their best, and that was certainly true against the Rams.....at least for 3 quarters. Even when we don't play well, and make a bunch of mistakes, we're still in games at the end. This gives me hope for the playoffs. If we can bring it in all 3 phases, we can beat anyone.
This is what I’ve been saying since last week. Keep an eye on each game as it occurs. Enough talking about SB wins already. Let’s just get through these last 2 games. They’re certainly not gimme’s. Better still, let’s just concentrate on the next one and take it from there.

Hopefully the mini bye week will put us in a good position to be fully prepared to play in Carolina. Also, we’ve had plenty of practice this year playing 10am games. We haven’t lost one in a long time. Knock on wood!

The trappiest trap game of the year.
Repost from the previous comments.
Funny stuff, give it a watch.

I would suggest “… It feels like [we] have spent the last two weeks in a new cycle. “
I don’t think the coaches and players are paying much attention to the news cycle.

And our only road loss this year was to the Rams by 2 points.
