Wilson is fun to watch when he's completing the big passes and making the seemingly impossible possible. He's always had the sacking problem, but instead of admitting not every damn play has to be a deep ball, he is blaming his O-line players. God is always credited for his wins, but the O-line takes the heat for the losses. He has taken the team to the Division Championship three times, the last one being 2015. There are 8 QBs in the NFL every year who get that far, and he hasn't been one of them for 6 seasons in a row. He should have pulled this power play back in 2016 when the decline started...before the Seahawks gave him a $140M contract. Can you tell I'm really annoyed with the dark cloud he's put the team under? :)
Drew Brees said some stuff last offseason. Completely different situation, I know. But come week one all this stuff will be forgotten. Heck, I bet it even makes the team stronger behind him. "Russ just wants to win..." etc. etc. etc.
I know I'm sick to death of the non-stop, multiple articles on the daily about poor Russell Wilson. I don't know why any team would want him in their locker room after all this public dissent and demands he be QB, Coach and Manager. Is Russell aware this is a team sport and he has a position to play already? We saw enough during the season of his distraction and defending himself after big losses & questionable play on his part. Expanding his role to include front office participation seems risky if his input leads to less than a stellar season should he get his way. While he never achieves MVP, the sports commentators mention him during every single game no matter what teams are on the field. Seems that's resulting in one massive ballooning of the man's ego. It's now reached the point where, IMHO, the Seahawks will find themselves reliving this during the commentating of every single game next season. SMDH

Brees' words had nothing to do with him thinking he was the end-all, be-all of his team. Racism in the NFL is always yesterday's news.
Great callback to Brees

Every. Single. Game.
