Who will win Seaside Survivor?

My favorite TV show is the same as my favorite NFL-associated fan game: Survivor. In lieu of a Seaside Joe fantasy football league, which I would not be able to run or participate in, I want to setup something else for Seahawks fans in this community who want to play a game together throughout this season: A Survivor league for Seasiders.

What is Survivor?

The best part is how simple it is: Each week you pick a team to win their game. If they win, you survive. If they lose or tie, you are eliminated. You can’t pick the same team twice in a season. Those are the only rules.

Who can enter to play?

Anyone who is in the Regular Joes or Super Joes premium club is eligible to play. If you sign up for Regular Joes for as little as $5 per month or $55 per year, you will be able to enter but you’re also going to a) get over 100 bonus articles from Seaside Joe every year and b) support Seaside Joe to be able to keep creating articles about the Seahawks every day. What do you win?

At minimum, the winner will receive a LIFETIME FREE membership to the Regular Joes club. That’s what I’m starting with but there could be more involved and added as we go—if you want to offer up anything to add to the pot for the winner, a custom Seahawks artifact for example, you’re more than welcome to do that! I’m not asking for donations to the winner, I just know we have a lot of creative fans who follow Seaside Joe who might want to offer something up.

Rules to enter:

• You have to be in the Regular Joes or Super Joes premium club (comps do not count)

• You have to enter before Thursday’s opening game, Lions-Chiefs

If you want to play in the Seaside Joe Survivor League this season, please fill out this three-question form (Name/Username, Regular Joes email address, your Super Bowl pick) by end of day Wednesday.

I will be sending out another email—only to people in Regular Joes—on Wednesday to be able to actually send in your entry for the first week of the Survivor league. You will need to submit your first Survivor pick before kickoff on Thursday. That opportunity will be coming via follow-up email on Wednesday morning, so for now just make sure to get your name in the pot by filling out the previous form. If you’re not in Regular Joes club and you enter, you will not be eligible to play and you won’t receive the entry emails.
