Seahawks Week 18 schedule: NFL sets stage for primetime drama if Seattle beats Rams
Week 18 playoff scenarios and draft order implications
The NFL has scheduled the Seattle Seahawks-Los Angeles Rams game for 1:25 PM PT on Sunday and flexed the Green Bay Packers-Detroit Lions for primetime on NBC. This was the right decision and it makes for intense drama no matter the outcome of Seahawks-Rams.
If the Seahawks beat the Rams, then Seattle fans can watch (in terror) as they pray for Jared Goff to upset Aaron Rodgers in Lambeau Field. If it is that much of an upset.
If the Seahawks lose to the Rams, then sorry, the season is over. But NFL fans still get a do-or-die scenario on primetime that is much more likely to be good football than having to sit through the Baltimore Ravens vs Cincinnati Bengals or Tennessee Titans vs Jacksonville Jaguars.
No matter the case, Lions-Packers is a win-and-in game for somebody and will have more talented football players than most Week 18 games.
