This was not the type of post that I do very often, but I enjoyed researching and making the questions, even if they were a bit hard. What did you think, was Seahawks trivia a worthy post?

When you post something everyday, stuff like this is a fun, and worthy, diversion. I enjoyed it. If you only put out content every couple of weeks, it would be a different story; but you don't, so it's not.

I loved it, even though I only got 3 right. As a fan since 76. I am amazed at some of the things I do remember, even if I hadn't thought about them since it happened. Also amazed at the number of things I have forgotten. But it was fun and I really enjoyed it.

Side note. Maybe make a quiz based on questions that are user submitted. Then you would be relieved of the responsibility of making it too hard. And you would only have to compile them (and vet them), but it would be less work.

It was just "ok" as a post. The bar is set so high by your other highly entertaining and informative posts that this one is only be a light palate-cleanser, IMHO. I wouldn't mind a couple more out of 365-¼, but not many more than that.

I was at the Cardinals game. I didn't miss a home game until a 1982 Steelers game.

I'm not a trivia guy at all. My kids bought me a Seahawks trivia book 2 Christmas' ago, and I flipped through it once and never looked at it again (please don't tell them that). Seahawks game history is interesting, and I'll frequently go back and re-watch old games if I can find them. The little facts about this or that doesn't interest me much......probably because I generally suck at trivia.

On a totally different topic, I saw an article over at Fieldgulls where Greg Rosenthal and someone else did a head coach draft......because what else are you supposed to do this time of year? Mike MacDonald was drafted 19th overall. Seemed very low to me, but he is only one year into the gig, so if you don't follow the Seahawks, and if all you know is he coached one year and didn't make the playoffs, then sure, I guess......put him 19th.

The other reason I'm guessing is that Mike is all substance and very little style. He's not Jim Harbough. More like John Harbough. Also pointed out in the article is that offensive h/c's get more love than defensive h/c's. This also makes sense. Offense has more pizzazz.

I'd have MacDonald much higher that 19th, but I'm happy for him to be our little secret for a couple more years. I love the no-nonsense, straight ahead, just grind every day kind of guy he is. And of course, he might be one of the smartest coaches in the league. So that can't hurt.

Matt Hasselbeck had a worse block in the back on Beast Quake than Cox did on the Leon Washington TD.

If what is online can be trusted Terry Metcalf is actually related to DK! Terry Metcalf is the father of former NFL RB/WR Eric Metcalf, who is a cousin of DK. Quite coincidental that Terry and Eric are Seattle natives, while DK ended up playing for many years for the Seahawks.

Hmm, then maybe I stand corrected!

Terry Metcalf was a terrific football player. In 1975, he scored TDs as a rusher, receiver, kick returner, and punt returner. It’s unclear whether DL is related to Eric:
