As far as I have noticed, the Seaside Joe community offers up a Lot of very interesting side-bar and reaction communication - of which doesn't exist if it were not for the author's prose. This 'Joe' feels it will be a fully authentic statement that all of the Joe contributors' words get included in that lofty number.
You're probably saving it for a future post, but where is the accompanying list of available free agent QBs?
Maybe add 49ers to the list? Lance's "backup" is a free agent after this season and maybe they hedge their bets against Lance being "too injury prone." Or maybe they just need a new backup. Seems just as reasonable as Titans, Patriots or Falcons or Bears.
Russell Wilson was responsible for so many great moments and will always be one of my favorites but I'll root against the Broncos every game this season. I'm salivating at the thought of having two 1sts and 2 seconds that are in the top 15. Or maybe even top 10? That's a brutal division, and Russ isn't looking like I expected. I'm fine with losing a lot of games this year, I'll just need to stay off social media and Fieldgulls after games. I think week one set some people's expectations a little too high.
Just a couple of weeks ago I told myself I'd be okay with the 'Hawks going 1-16 if the one was against Denver. I sure don't want to live through the weekly drama of such a season but if they picked #1 next April I'd still be a fan. And just like all the rest of us, my second favorite team all year long is whoever is playing the Broncos.
This is like the third or fourth topic you have addressed lately that I have been musing over.
I was just working up this list of potential QB buyers yesterday. You included more potential suitors than I did.
Some of these will get proven veterans vs risking it all on a rookie. Pete will likely double down. Whether it be to keep Drew no Locksmith around And draft strong for the position or even triple up with a 4th rounder as well (McCall should be there, right?).
You know he will cover his base...Penix Jr sure has looked interesting too. Nevertheless, I remain More intrigued by the other early draft choices they may make - let the draft come to them...NO trading up and wasting the opportunity to build this thing right!
IF the Hawks were to trade up, how do you feel about them only including a 2024 pic in that move up? For instance - trade our natural 2nd plus 2024's 1st rounder to move up back into the 2023 first round to select an end of the first round quality QB after getting a Game Wrecker inside pass-rusher and an Elite WR!
I'd not like it at all. Too risky a move. If the team doesn't think there's a QB worth the pick, I'd rather take a flier on someone who slips to a lower round. We may need more than one draft to rebuild the team.
I agree that the Seahawks should let the draft come to them and not trade up if it means having fewer picks in the first two rounds to work with. There are more holes on this roster than just the quarterback position, so I don't think they should put all their chips on what could be a losing bet.
1,000,000 words from Seaside Joe in 2022???

This was a light, funny, entertaining article. Exactly what the doctor ordered for this season!

I'd be totally fine with it. This season isn't about winning for me.
Da Bears are 1-1. They beat the Niners on opening week.
thanks!
How bazaar Kenneth.

here is an idea...
