53-man roster projection: 2 surprises per side
Another look at the potential final roster following OTAs and minicamp: 6/21/2023
It has not been terribly long since the last 53-man roster projection at Seaside Joe, but our community has grown considerably in that time and the Seattle Seahawks have also had at least a couple of revelations and discoveries through offseason practices thus far.
I’m going to do another 53-man roster projection today with the challenge of creating at least two “surprises” on either side of the ball. These will not be forced surprises, rather I think of it as an opportunity to let thought experiments open fans up to potential outcomes that we may not be universally prepared for yet. I will defend each surprise with some explanation and if you still find it to be a 0-percent chance, then you can let me know in the comments.
But I don’t suspect I’ll be taking any 0-percent shots in the dark here.
This will be a bonus article for Regular Joes subscribers, but if you want to stay as a free subscriber—no problem, I will still post a free 53-man roster projection by training camp! Thank you to our 17 newest members of the premium paid section including Seasider Arthur (nice name), Isaiah, Strategy (my favorite thing that football teams do), Pak, Kyle, Animus, Chuck, J. Putz (not J.J. Putz), Si, Darin, B Duncan, Shampa, Peyton Manning (maybe not peyton manning but the name is close), JC, Charla, Seth, JBD, and Stolis!
And a big thank you to Shaymus for taking me up on my offer of “Prize!” by sharing this testimonial to all of his Seahawks fan friends on Facebook!
It is thanks to all of you that Seaside Joe keeps reaching new Seahawks fans everyday as we look to hit 2,500 subscribers by training camp.

I’ll make sure to not completely duplicate the last 53-man roster projection, which you can read here for reference.
