-Something else Bell noted on Thursday is that Murphy and Christian Haynes were with the starters against the Titans in joint practice. That's a big piece of news for Haynes if it holds up into next week. Seahawks starting interior could end up as Laken-Connor-Haynes.

What strikes me about Murphy’s Seahawks highlights are that they look exactly like his college highlights. This tells us that his skill set holds up in the NFL and that he can execute against NFL players.

He drops his knee and anchors a double team? Check out. He bull rushes a center into a QB’s lap? Check. He moves laterally at the snap and knifes through the line to the QB? Check. They try to double team him, and he completely side-steps one of blockers? Check. He disengages in a split second to bury the RB for a TFL? Check.

And all this is before he’s honed his craft as a professional player. His floor is above many players’ ceilings.

Does he remind me of Aaron Donald? Not really. He’s going to build his own path.
