Jody Allen is the owner. Yes, there is the Paul Allen trust, but she makes the owner decisions. Watson's civil lawsuits by over 20 women for sexual misconduct haven't gone away. This type of behavior isn't tolerated by the Hawks. One or two backup QB's ago was arrested for domestic violence. He wasn't re-signed. Pete and John aren't going to bring Watson into this organization.

Agree wholeheartedly with all of this post ... except for : "My personal favorite is Grayson McCall and given that nobody agrees with me, the Seahawks might even be able to grab him in the second round." Heck, many of us definitely agree with you. (i know you're talking about other teams & sports writers). Was hoping that the Hawks would somehow be able to pick Grayson and now we have a great chance. C'mon Seahawks, lets not muff it. Personally, wouldn't want to risk waiting until the 2nd round but who knows.

I think Deshaun Watson has to many off field problems to fit into Pete's type of image he wants his players to portray. I believe Pete wants his young players to develop/grow into successful men on and off the field. So i would be surprised if Pete and John decide to go after Deshaun Watson. I believe there are better options out there to pick from.

I have always thought Deshaun Watson is a fantastic Quatreback. He is top 5 at his position.

My three picks at quarterback for the 2022 Seahawks are as follow, I have not decided what order

Marcus Mariota, perhaps his accuracy has improved, for sure a change of scenery was needed for the big Hawaiin . Mariota can run well and is tough as nails. Also I have heard nothing but good things from his teammates and peers

Colt McCoy I can't elaborate much on the former Longhorn, but he looked very composed going through his progressions beating Seattle twice in the last 2 years. I do believe that he was more ready to play the Rams in round one of last years playoffs than Kyler Murray was.

Gardner Minshew I just realized his name was not on your list of free agents. Never the less I don't think it would cost more than a 6th round pick to aquire him. Coming home to Washington State Minshew mania would grab hold of Seahawk fans. Minshew doesn't have a big arm but doesn't turn the ball over very much. I can see him being a good place holder especially as Seattle will be a run heavy team. I have seen the cost of Rashaad Penny very by as much as $5 million. Him and if Carson is healthy plus a stud draft pick would help Minshew and the other 2 considerably.

There is no one I can see worth drafting at 9. Offensive tackle or a defensive lineman would be the way I would go.

A fun pick Fitz magic.

Ken the list you showed of the QBs taken in 2013 was jaw dropping. Ponderous is about the nicest thing I could say.

Anyone of the QBs I wrote down has the capability to win to many games for us to have a pick at 1 or 2 next year. So maybe just maybe Grayson McCall will be the next good Seahawks quarterback. His stats are truly impressive.

Malpractice on a new level. The assets are valuable for what they are, not for what else they could be exchanged for.
