At one point this season there were 4 former or current Seahawks linebackers on the top tackles list. Bobby Wagner, Jordan Brooks, Ernest Jones, and at the bottom was Barton. My first reaction was someone is scouting efficient tacklers very well in Seattle...if there's a common link kudos to whomever you are.
Looking for 'another' blowout! Every blowout, even against a really bad team, makes us stronger. The more game reps our (amazing) back-ups and Ready Squad can get, the stronger we're going to be down the stretch. GO HAWKS!! (all 70 of you)!
If opportunity arises (ie: blowout city), I'd like to see Milroe get some reps with the O-line ones. With good coaching and experience I believr his accuracy and ball protection judgement and reading defenses should improve. He already has one thing most QB's don't have and can't be coached...speed and the moves and vision of an RB. Nicholas Donsky is spot on about "patience". I think Milroe is a diamond in the rough, our QB of the future, and gives us enough QB security in 2026 to draft another good lineman with our first pick.
Anything can happen in a game. One more meaningless (?) stat/comparison. The Titans have the worst point differential in the whole league, -130. We have the second best, +101. What does that mean? Watch the game and find out. Please refrain from throwing anything too hard.
I do not anticipate the Titans will be competitive in this game. MM has had the Hawks well prepared all year and I expect more of the same.
Here are some players I will be watching, though I do not necessarily see them all as "keys" of the game.
- Sam Darnold: I think he will bounce back... I will be looking for signs that he is pressing. Will he set up for his throws? Will he go through his progressions? Will he force passes?
- Christian Haynes: I don't expect Zabel to play. How physical is his play going to be? Is he going to hit his spots? How will the Titans attack him?
- Rashid Shaheed: Will this be his breakout game for the Seahawks? Like some of the Horton plays earlier in the year, it feels like the timing has been off just a touch between Sam and Rashid. Is this the game where the timing finally clicks?
- Anthony Bradford: The Rams were highly successful on stunts to Bradford's side and I expect the Titans to utilize some of the same concepts. How well will Bradford adapt?
I am always wary when the visitors come into your home field with Vegas odds 2 TDs against you. Pisses guys off. Was it here or in Cleveland that Chenna picked up the cheap shot to his knees?
Be curious to see who plays IOL this game. I'm wondering if something like Haynes/Olu/Bradford, combined with Sam's four interceptions last game, might lead to a game plan heavy on whatever run concepts make sense.
I've felt all season that we're trying to keep Walker intact, best we can, for the playoffs. That would explain his touches. And/or he has some kind of nagging injuries that they're managing. (And I still don't think he'll be resigned, not even if he's Super Bowl MVP. Well. Maybe then.)
Regardless, MM has done a terrific job (from my vantage on the sidelines) not forcing players back into the lineup early, waiting for them to be closer to healed, with an eye toward the long season and the playoffs. I'll be surprised if Zabel plays. But, my usual disclaimer, I am often wrong.
The Titans suck because they have no patience, no continuity in the coaching staff. What would have happened if the Seahawks bailed on Pete after 2 losing seasons? It takes time and some faith in a process to rebuild. That's on the ownership.
The Titans are kind of a mess, but it's a mess as a result of in my eyes are desire to tear down and build from the ground up. The move they've made in the last two years I could understand, even if they were kind of bad. Meanwhile the Browns are just bad, making obviously bad decisions with a desire to keep being bad. It's nice to have a team like the Browns in the league so we can all look and say "oof, at least we're not them" (like, the Browns are going to win as many titles as the Mariners, but there is a pacific ocean sized gulf between the two teams in terms of "badness").
The Hawks have gone through the tear down, reset, and painful decisions. When Wilson went you could see the logic. When Pete went you could see the logic. Geno, Wagner, Sherman etc. Trades for Jones, for Williams, you could see the logic. We've gotten incredibly lucky that nigh on every move made since 2022 has basically worked (outside of the Cardinals, the NFC West hit rate on move and changes is wild, no division is even close, they are an ocean away). So time to dunk on a team that is at its low point, and I hope the Titans can get good moves done in the off-season because I have no illwill to the franchise who seem to just go about their business without being shitty or generating needless controversy.
This is going to be a big game for Walker. He has to show he play nicked up if he wants to get paid. We all know the most important attribute a player can have is availability.
Barton is average at best on a bad team. He always had the tools, he just could not put them
One thing that concerns me about this team and we need are takeaways at critical times. We get them (4th in the league ) but not the ones that finish off a team.
Perhaps we will see Milroe ? He has been riding the bench for awhile. This might be the type of team you give him a chance?
Until proven otherwise I agree. I had him a few times in college and he did nothing impress me. But they drafted him so there must be something they liked
Let’s not chalk this up as a win just yet. The Texans barely squeaked by with a win against this team. I hope the Seahawks take this game seriously. I’d like to see another 30+ point first half, then rest the vets and nicked players in the 2nd half. Sam needs to get the mojo back with two big pass plays in the first half. (JSN and Shaheed) I’ve heard people say Sam needs to play error free above all else in this game. I for one want to see fewer INTs, but I don’t want to see him turn into Aaron Rodgers and throw 20 three yard passes. Going ultra conservative will destroy this offense’s ability to compete against the top teams.

Do believe that KHammaring has a connection to the Ocean. Wave on.
