J-Reed was funny as hell yesterday in his interview. Said Byron Murphy was 'strong as shit' 3 times. Unblockable. I expect some teammate embellishment there, but I hope it proves to be true.

My guess is that Kubiak will choose his starting line sooner, rather than later. He’ll be looking for a high floor (for both run and pass) and reliability and coachability, rather than a high ceiling. He knows that the OL needs to play as a unit and that one bonehead can ruin drive after drive. He needs to get his OL together quickly, so they will learn how to work with their next door neighbors.

He’s not looking for a potential star or two. He’s looking for guys who can do a job. Dithering would just harm the unit. This isn’t Hamlet.

I'm seeing our guys tenderizing opponents into losing games the following week after playing us. I'm hearing AJ Barner talking like a delighted Fullback, seeing him motion into opening lanes for K9, who will be following on the hip of our official Fullback, both of whom are following Pulling Guards... I can almost hear the groans of Cornerbacks and Safeties as they finally sink into a hot tub after hours spent flying home from losing in front of our 12s. Word will get around: K9 is easy compared to Charbonnet.

They need to pay Kenneth Walker more money! The poor guy can't afford a blender for his Oreo-milk snack.

I'm embarrassed I didn't have any mention of Ouzts yesterday. Robbie, won't happen again (don't beat me up please). He could become THE fan favourite this year if he gets it done in front of the RB's. That'd be sweet. Never heard of a guy who just wanted to block, with few aspirations for anything else. Just wants to go hit someone. Kubiak should let him do a lot of it.

Mack Strong. Look it up. He just wanted to open holes a Mack truck could run through! And SA did.

LoL. Mack Strong was the best football name ever. Mack liked his 3rd and 1 quick hitters up the middle, and caught the odd pass too. But you're right, the man loved to put his helmet on people.

My first player jersey. Not because I don’t have others like “my man Jacob” (Jacob Green). And of course Largent. But I couldn’t afford a jersey as a kid. Loved Mack.

Hoping Jay Harbaugh got some pointers in the off season. I am curious how the special teams shake out this year. There were some atrocious plays last year.

May the 12s be with you and Go Seahawks!

You may be right about Arroyo's pre-season minutes now that Fant is gone, but I do like the idea of rookies earning their spots, so I could see him getting another possession or two after the 1's are pulled out. Gotta get 'em ready. There is the whole injury risk thing to manage, and I suppose if he's your #2 behind Barner, then some degree of caution is warranted. Especially given what happened to Chenna last preseason.

Still cranky about that.

I hate to be picky, but you left out the "L". Please don't do that again.

Do you mean Nathan “Pick Six” Peterman? *I* might be able to beat him out!

This is speculation. My take is that JS and PC differed over TE. Based on how Carroll tried to play every TE Schneider brought in, Zach Wilson was Pete’s ideal: A 6th offensive lineman between the 20s plus a red zone threat. Carroll wanted to make Graham (and Noah Fant, whom Schneider wanted to draft in the first round) into something they were not, which is how the team wound up with Graham to block Jadaveon Clooney on a big third down play.

I've been advocating for moving Fant all off season. All he brought to the team was an 8.5 million waste of cap space.

Arroyo and Barner will be massive upgrades. K. Walker isn't going any where except to RB1. The O will take some time to fully jell but the new scheme will be much better than last year. Horton will be WR.2 by mid season.
