Kenneth Walker III signs with Chiefs
Seahawks lose Super Bowl MVP over money
Seahawks fans often complained that Kenneth Walker needed to do more running North-to-South but on Monday he was running West-to-Midwest. The Kansas City Chiefs are signing Walker to a free agent contract.
The report is that the Chiefs gave Walker a three-year contract worth up to $45 million, just under $29 million fully guaranteed. The average annual salary would then sit between $13.5-$15 million, which many will argue is too much for a running back and a fair move for Seattle to sit back and let it happen.
The Seahawks opted to not franchise tag Walker, which now looks like it would have been their only bet to keep their starting running back from the past four seasons and the Super Bowl MVP.
What are your thoughts on losing Walker to the Chiefs? Do you think he will thrive or struggle in Kansas City?
As I post this to get it out to subscribers as fast as possible, contract terms are not available. I will update the post as soon as those numbers are available.

Bears sign Coby Bryant. Not going to do a separate post for this one just yet.
3 years, $40 million for Coby. No way. I would never do that.
It's a 3-year, $45M max deal with a base of $14.35M per year. $28.7M is fully guaranteed
