I read somewhere that analytics postulates that a WR3 has more positional value in the draft than a RB. Surprisingly, I don’t see many fans wearing the name of their team’s WR3 on their shirt. Or the name of one their 6th round ‘by committee’ running backs.
Football analytics is like calculating the geo-spatial differences of light refraction in water droplets, when everyone just likes to see a rainbow.
Exciting to anticipate but I'm keeping my emotions in check until I see it at the NFL level. Let's see if he can perform and hold up at that level. That he shifts and jukes more than rolls over people would seem to give him a decent chance at some career longevity.
Walker looked great. Another guy stood out too. Michigan's Erick All, the tight end. Seems like he has good size, good hands, super competitive, tough under pressure. Would love to get him on our team in the "23 draft. Not a super elusive runner but one doesn't expect twinkle toes in a tight end.
May the football gods bless this young man with health. Because it sure looks like that's all he's gonna need!
