Congrats Joe and the Hawks for taking the best players on the board regardless of position.

No reach for need!

What happened to the Levi's in the top 10 prediction? Apparently some personnel guys didn't buy into the media hype and actually watched his tape.

Next Dline, Center, LB and RB help.I think the Hawks have their nose tackle in round 2..

Wow! You and Staton were both right with Richardson going 4. I think it was Irsay’s pick and possibly the worst in the draft, but who knows?

The guy seems to be able to tackle which seemed to be a problem for our defense last year. I hope he can do it in the NFL.

Love the logic you used to mock this pick. Love the mentality JS/PC had to make the pick.

Where are you, Rob?

I dunno if you can get on Rob, he's doing pretty well with his beliefs with 3 QB's going in the top 4. And the Hawks passed on Carter as well.

I feel like both Ken and Rob got their fair share of picks right. Why are we bashing him? He was right on the NFL being high on the quarterbacks (wrong about Levis), and he was right that we would pass on Jalen. He often picked Devon for the Lions as the next pick so...hats off to both of these gents

Kenneth - you are the MAN! I didn't think they'd go 1st round CB in a million years but somehow you knew.

I think there really has been a shift in how the Hawks draft now, I think a lot of our old assumptions can go out the window.

I can definitely get excited about JSN. Was hoping for Smith but what do I know? We'll all know in a year or three if this was the right pick. He's certainly an exciting, dynamic receiver.

You were right but JNS at 20 I love it. Now if Mazi Smith can just last! The Seahawks are doing BPA their way! A corner and receiver in the first round, it is a new era.

I think the JSN pick was a happy coincidence where BPA met a huge team need. I'm over the moon on JSN.

we sure got some quality little guys, bring on the Bigs. Mazy and Siaki tomorrow? We really need two of 'em.

JSN! I'm well on the record saying this WR Class is not that good. And yes, JSN is not a JaMar Chase or DeVonta Smith, but he is the best WR in this class. And any time you can get the #1 position player is a time to celebrate!

And hey, no need to panic about the Dline. It's a deep class, and in three day 2 picks we can add excellent pieces there as well as an OLine player. Good Day 1 for the 'Hawks, very good. No reaches, only very good football players.

Agree, I think they went BPA at both picks based on their board and I love that, and I think WR is a bigger need than people give it credit for being (also signaling Eskridge is not going to be the answer).

Disappointed about Dee as I told the Seaside community I wanted the Hawks to draft him. Two nasty concussions really did him in. There is still a small role he can carve out as W4 or W5. He needs to run back punts or tackle well on teams, which would increase his value in Pete's eyes.

Definitely the hope that he can compete at WR4 or be a ST player. The concussion really screwed up his development his rookie year. However, it's hard to say if its Eskridge's fault that he didn't find a role in the offense or theirs: still can't tell if Waldron ever really had a plan for him, because you'd think they would considering where they took him.
