Would of liked to have read Parallax's comments. Too bad all comments are edited now . . .

By the way, where was Boye Mafe? I think I saw his number once. Was he being double teamed or something? Did not hear his name called.

How about elevating Levi Bell from the practice squad?

I watched him and while some out of position plays he was playing hard but often Whinerd went away from him on run plays etc. wasn’t a force but was in on the action. My bigger surprise knowing that Taylor lacks, where’s Hall been. He’s only a special teams player right now.

After last week's letdown, I wasn't too worried about getting our turkeys stuffed by the 9ers. We all saw how well we stack up against the league's best after the Ravens game. This team is undisciplined, inexperienced at key positions, and needs an influx of talent and a gutting of overpaid vets. At this point, I wouldn't be shocked if we lost out for the rest of the season. And that might not be the worst thing for this team longer term. I'm not cheering for Drew Lock to come in and I don't want everyone fired. But I would like to see us improve over the coming years and feel like the team has some future stars to do so. Squeaking into the playoffs and losing in the first round breeds "We're almost there" type complacency. We're not almost there. And that's okay, but the team needs rebuilding and not retooling. I wish it had been approached that way to begin with but in my opinion Geno's 2022 season and the development of a lot of younger guys made for too much optimism.

From here on I will watch to see our Defense develop, to include half time adjustments by Hurtt, and wait to get a take on Drew Lock's future with the Team. The rest I've seen before. Yawn/stretch.

For the first time in his career Eskridge may have been the best Seahawk last night, with the possible exception of Dickson.

I'm not a big fan of the Vision board thing, but I'm going to get the the ball rolling for next week anyway:

Score an offensive touchdown.

At least none of you (so far as I know) are married to a Niners fan. To her credit, Mrs. Schloer spent much of the game turning the turkey carcass into soup, sandwich, and enchilada ingredients rather than gloating. I love that woman.

Traded texts during the game with an old work friend whose mother was over for the holiday. Mother's reaction: "What color are those uniforms? They make them look like little green worms. Do they glow in the dark?" Apparently @Bertrand wasn't the only one finding entertainment value.

Enjoy the rest of the holiday season, everyone. At the end of the day, remember - it's still only football!

The camera angles from behind the QB were very telling.... 4 routes all covered, NONE of them crossing or in the middle of the field. Idk who would NOT be taking a sack. Stoned Forsythe one on one vs. Bosa, just dumb.

Early 2nd half, slants, crossing routes and TE targets were working. THEN, we just stopped calling those routes (again). 🤦‍♂️

Geno has size vs Wilson and I too was wondering same. Almost no middle of field plays. No TE work. I saw Colby open a couple times but play not designed for him so Geno never looked his way. Just don’t get it.

Yep.

I do lay blame at Geno's feet, but Shane does NOT do much to make it any easier on him. Until I see evidence to the contrary, I still think this is a 60/40 Shane/Geno problem

If I saw correctly, Charbonnet only had 4 carries in the whole first half. It's the exact opposite of what their identity is supposedly. The 49ers on the other hand, play Pete ball perfectly.

My eyeballs nearly popped watching Forsyth just give up on Bosa. More or less quit trying halfway thru the play, giving up yet another sack. IMHO, a morale issue generally associated with poor leadership (which is not the same as "management").

As before, it is not clear to me who is actually "calling plays". Could be Waldron or Smith, on any given down. Either way, not exercising the full range for long stretches of every game. Possibly a case of Hammer Syndrome?

Yep. I had to watch Mike Birbiglia's new Netflix special (I recommend all of his stuff - poignant comedy) to wash the taste out of my eyes and brain before being able to rest. Enjoy the rest of y'all's holiday weekend!

I recall a comment by a retired NFL coach, always stayed with me. “Great players make

Great coaches”.I believe we do have some great players, just not where it counts.

Somehow last night wasn’t as bad as Sunday, at least there were no expectations to win. Plus the game had good comedy value with Charbs tripping geno and the three CBs running into each other to give up a 1st down, AND Dallas trying to pickup his drop with the 9ers charging at him like it’s braveheart. The defense did better than I expected. Geno played ok given the circumstances. No surprises from the offense in general, they played like they usually play.

So true on the low expectations. But DANG one offensive touchdown over the course of two divisional games is super frustrating to watch as a fan. I feel like there's so much potential and talent on that side of the ball. The next 3 feel like almost certain losses to me, but at least if we pull off even one upset, I'll be very excited.

Dickson had more yards than the offence. Kinda says all you need to know about how the game went. A lot of the rest of the stats between the two teams are not wildly different, but that was not a remotely close game. Not going to dive into anything else today, because it's just repeating the same things week after week. We're just quite a way from being an NFC contender and this 0-4 run will be good long term to shake JS/PC into realising this.

Thankful I didn't stay up to like 4am to watch that, catching up in the morning was the right call.

Dallas is 5-0 at home, winning by an average score of 41-12. They haven’t played any good teams at home. Who would describe the Hawks as a good team?
