"one thing I’ve learned is that you can’t really convince people to change their minds at a certain point.

They’ll just double down." same thing they do with their politics..

A couple of days ago PFT sorry Ken there is a point. We're discussing how little PFFgrades van be an using Geno as the example. I mentioned your theory and one I believe or I wouldn't have written it, why Lock will start. Holy Sheep Shit the nasty comments I received were mind blowing. I suggested subscribing to Seaside Joe your news letter and streak. One small part of my reply was to research the Seahawks quarterback battle and how long Jackson had lead the said competition. I had been accused of living way out in an alternate universe, and added to that small part that it would he good if they could read and that my universe is real most times. I mention a few days back I had never used Twitter and this cemented I would not start.

Play well Drew !!!!!

My favorite thing that could happen is that the offense predictably struggles for the first quarter, but then Eskridge takes over as a primary target and is just wide open all night. Lock can't miss a guy this good at winning against his coverage and racks up silly passing stats. We then spend the next two weeks trying to decide if Lock is good, or just the guy that got to throw to Eskridge. It's not Geno's fault he only got to throw to DK and Lockett!

Well that would indeed be, the absolute best possible out come. It would be even better, if Drew and Dee, could take advantage of the Cowboys Diggs, propensity to jump routes he shouldn't. This would mean Dee and Drew were thinking ahead and (drew )him into some bad decision. Sorry for the pun, but now that I look at it, it works HaHa 😄

Would like to see anybody hit Eskridge for some long gains.

The player I am most excited to see is Eskridge. If he breaks out and KWIII is as good as advertised, add in a second round receiver (maybe first round?) in the 2023 draft and man-alive we’d be working with something there! Drafting the QB goes without saying...except I just said it 😁

He's a big wild card for the offense.

John Gilbert just wrote over on Fieldgulls that the competition never was one at all and that Geno is all but assured the week one start. I can see how he'd come to that conclusion, but believe -and hope -that he's wrong. I'm ready to get my Lock TDs workout on!

I cited your articles and they would not post my comment. I took the articles out and mentioned this site and they wouldn't post it. I blacked out the name of this site and it is now on JPG's article. I think your argument makes more sense. Thanks for all your time writing about it but I agree it is getting way too much mileage at this point. I probably gets a lot of clicks though

And that, right there, is the reason I am not on FG anymore as a poster. There is a orthodoxy to the site that you cannot question.

That is part of the reason I want to see Drew. Also if he is filled with confidence, he could have a career saving season

Drew could actually be good. He could potentially be a pro QB. He's got the physical skills, and I've seen enough to lean into a season of seeing if he has IT.

Explosive run game, aggressive defense, solid QB play making those 3-5 playsa game that put the team over the top.

Yep.

Wait--what if Geno gets cut for the 53-man roster, Lock starts vs his former team and then...

JIMMY G starts against the Niners!!! It could be the revenge tour of all revenge tours lol.

I believe we play the Jags. We could also trade for Minshew that start and see how it goes.

Absolutely! :D

What other soon-to-be-out-of-work QBs can the Seahawks sign to play vs their former teams?

Russ can support his former team by laying a major egg game1. 3 ints, including the game sealer by Shelby Harris...see the big man rumble down the field! Yes!!!
