Is this okay? Offense
Getting real about the Seahawks offensive positions headed into the draft: Seaside Joe 1871
The NFL Draft is in 10 days, so we can turn up the heat on the frequency of draft posts until then and get closer to predicting the first pick of the Seattle Seahawks again. As accurate as it was last year, I hope.
I believe the odds are in favor of the Seahawks picking a defensive player with their first selection, which goes against the popular choice of an offensive lineman. I was on that position as the biggest need many months ago, but recent information and Seattle’s actions since firing Pete Carroll point me towards a continuation of that rebuild by adding the best defensive prospect who they can get.
If it is an offensive player, can it be as easy as picking a right guard or a center because those are the positions with the least amount of experience? Rather than guess, Seaside Joe prefers to deduce: This is the depth chart of each offensive position and an answer to the question…”Is this okay?”
