I think the first round of the draft, not the Super Bowl, is the biggest day of the NFL year. Even if your team is in the Super Bowl, did they get there without the first day of the NFL Draft? Definitely not without the entire draft.

I will be posting a newsletter tonight immediately after we find out what the Seahawks do with their first pick, whether that’s a trade or a pick or a trade and a pick.

The Seahawks hold pick 16 and rumors are flying of wanting to trade down, as Seaside Joe predicted on Thursday, but that seems to be the case with more teams than there are picks to trade. John Schneider probably doesn’t know what he’s going to do yet. The draft starts at 5 PM PT and what the Seahawks elect to do will probably be revealed around 630-700 PM.
