The Seattle Seahawks officially placed Bud Clark on season-ending injured reserve on Tuesday (the way Clark handled himself in the hour after breaking his ankle was truly inspiring) which means that it’s even more likely that someone like Tory Horton could be placed on short-term IR this week.

Placing Horton on short-term IR would allow the Seahawks to keep an extra player on the 53-man roster at final cuts. It seems like the logical thing for Mike Macdonald to do now, assuming that Horton is expected to miss at least another month with whatever is ailing him.
