People on Fieldgulls already calling for Carroll to be fired. And I bet not one of them would say before the season if we were 1-1 going into week 3 they'd be upset about it.

I'm really enjoying this season. Not expecting to win allows me to just watch and enjoy. Our team, other teams, guys we let go playing superhero. Whatever.

Good attitude! There are fun things to watch. Really hope Seattle can be explosive on offense next season.

Me too. All of us feel that way, I'm sure. But whatever happens, I'll look forward to seeing it. The future's uncertain, which is what makes the game fun.

Yesterday I tried to not land to hard on the Seahawks, because they were coming off a emotional win and they were one day short on preparation. The preparation doesn't belong here. The players were on their normal schedule, the coaches would have been working a little harder but they had all summer to get ready for the first two games.

Why does it seem so difficult for us to use our dynamic weapons. We all saw the all world class catch DK made only to be wiped out by a good penalty, I say good as it was a aggressive mistake by a rookie. Tyler had over 100 yards. Funny last year Geno had a hard time locating Tyler but did well with DK.

I want to see Shane Waldron mixing it up in who is the number one target, and calling a good game. One where he anticipates what the defense is going to do. Having an answer for the defensive questions that are been asked. Right now teams know we are going to run with Penny or KW3, and pass to DK or Tyler. In week one we used the tightends well, something we haven't seen since Jimmy Graham. If we are being honest we were good at finding Jimmy for touchdowns, thee most important thing. He was not very effective between the 20s. We need to scheme open our third and fourth receiver and all three tightends. If we can spread the ball around better, KW3 and Penny will be awesome.

I didn't mind the call to have DJ Dallas throw the ball. Yes there were many other easier plays. The truth is DK was open and it was not a hard throw. Did Dallas squeeze the ball to tight or was it a case of over finess. I felt sorry DJ as that was an ugly throw. I do not have access to the full eleven tape, which would tell us if we missing opportunities. We have a number of Questuons on defense but that's for another day.

For everyone who is hoping Drew Lock will get to play soon, tamp down your enthusiasm as this was just game two and Geno did okay in game one

If DeeJay had a better throw, that might not necessarily make it a better decision, but certainly takes the heat off of the playcall.

I did enjoy the play. It reminded me a bit about Jon Ryan’s throw.

John's throw was much better. I bet DJs throw was the worst thing he has ever done athletically. After many hours of rumination, I put it down to stage fright. It was like he forgot his lines in the school play. Seattle would never have run that play had they not pulled it off in practice 8 or 9 out of 10 times

🤣🤣🤣 Kenny Clark...priceless.

Denver is looking at a nail biting, high blood pressure season. Seattle will enjoy a much different season than we're used to but with a bit of relief and optimism (well, I will, anyway). I do hope the Hawks get things better before Germany, though.

I never thought about it but I have gone back into Vancouver Canuck mode. I wouldn't want to miss a game, where the Canucks have 82, that's a lot of games in a bad season. After reading your post I realize that I am far less emotionally committed. The first game was a lot of fun. The second game may have been the least amount of offensive plays we have had in years. Even in the Broncos game Geno said we only got 3 offensive possessions in the second half. As we had the chance to win I didn't notice it. I have 2 Peter Gunn's recorded from last night at 4 to 5am on MeTV. I mention it as I know you are a conesur of the fine noir detective show

I will need to get Seaside Jay a "Clark" jersey one day.

The angst level in Seattle won't be anywhere near that in Denver. It's funny how expatiations alter perceptions. Well, expatiations and 250 million dollars I suppose. And draft picks. Did I mention Denver's lack of draft picks?

Agreed. It will be a welcome change IMHO.
