Seaside Survivor League: Second Chances!

Didn't make the first league? Eliminated already? Let's do this again!

In the first week of Survivor, we had 52 of 123 entrants ELIMINATED, mostly because of the Seahawks (28 knocked out) and Vikings (15), so that immediately knocked out almost half of our players!

Because of that—and because I did a really poor job of planning out how to run a Survivor League through Google spreadsheets—I’m giving EVERYONE a second chance. Even if you didn’t sign up the first time and even if you’re not a Regular Joes subscriber; this second league is open to ANYONE.

The first league will still be going, we’ll just run them concurrently. Yes, you can be in both leagues. This second league will be managed by Yahoo! this time, that way I won’t have to keep track myself of who you already picked and who you are picking.

The only downside is that you either need to have or create a Yahoo! account to join OR you can sign in with a Google account. This isn’t my ideal solution, but if it makes you feel any better, I too had to create a Yahoo! account in order to start the league. It’s not like I want you to make a Yahoo! account, but I couldn’t find any websites that ran Survivor without a catch.

The rules of a Survivor League could not be simpler: Each week you pick an NFL team to win, you can only pick a team once per season. If they lose or tie, you are eliminated. That’s the game.

The winner of both the first game and Second Chances will earn a lifetime subscription to Regular Joes. If you want to share this Yahoo! link with other Seahawks fans who aren’t even subscribed to Seaside Joe, that’s fine too…How would I even know or be able to stop you? Why would I want to? I hope we get a lot of people in this league but you have until Thursday Night Football (Vikings at Eagles) to make your picks or you are too late!
