Hey, Tampa Bay got a win today and I'm still in. Or I'm still in the Yahoo league anyway. I'm not sure if I even made a week two entry in the first contest.
Can't imagine how much time it takes to try and organise 123 entrants. I've run a variety of drafts and other fantasy games myself but only for like 15/20 people tops, and i imagine the scale throws up complications.
Not going to write out what you've probably tried, rather just say we all appreciate the efforts ontop of the blog making! And at the least it's a learning experience for the 2024 season :p
If I join the Yahoo pool do I get to pick Baltimore again down the road?
It might not matter, as I'm going to pick TB over Chicago in week two. This whole thing could come to screeching stop at about noon next Sunday morning.
Ken, I love ya, and I've proved that with about every post I've ever made on SSJ but I can't believe you hadn't thought that out when you started the pool. Please say this is just a misunderstanding. You really do have a plan for week two and three, and all the rest don't you?
What about making a Yahoo league and only invite those that were not eliminated? I know that the pick from week 1 will still be available, but might be a good trade off to the headache of self-managing it.
Interesting option but it’s only entering week 2 and more than half are eliminated. The game could be over by week 3 at this rate since there’s still not enough of a sample to see what the power rankings are to make choices over guesses.
Good question. I failed to get past the first pick so Yahoo is my only option. It's a really great option...everything is right there for the whole season.
Jacksonville, Baltimore, and Pittsburgh all look like good picks in week three. Lets see what happens next Sunday.

I feel . . . reborn!
What Mark said…
Are we going to convert to Yahoo for the first pool? I'm pretty sure I'm still in.
Thanks! I feel like an idiot for signing up for the first league but then forgetting to make a pick in time. Now I can actually play.
How do we make our second pick in the first survivor pool?
Working that out. I did not think it through enough when I started but gonna make it happen

I just hope everybody sees it as a game with no stakes and has fun with it and doesn’t get upset. I am actually doing a lot of work to make it work.

My only fear would be anyone feeling like that was unfair or whatever solution I come up with is unfair, but you could be right as the best answer.
