Penix sure looked great today. Against a very solid Michigan State defense. He's cool under fire and seems to pick the open man every time. Great arm in terms of strength, touch and accuracy. I'm not saying he'll win the Heisman or get drafted in the first round. I'm not saying Seattle should take him if he comes out early. Just saying I'm glad Washington has this kid.
Coastal put in the backup QB for a hail mary at the end of the first half, which is probably the most damning sign about Grayson McCall's arm that I've seen so far in his career.
My hats off to you if you are able to watch all those games/Qb’s — maybe you can, is a heroic effort. What I love about your views is that they’re based on your views literally, if you’ll pardon the alliteration. Spectacular if you can pull this off for 12 consecutive weeks.
I hope everybody has a great game and a great career but, please God, don't let the SeaHawks draft the kid from Clemson. I really don't want to learn how to pronounce his name.
just take it syllable by syllable -- Polynesian names are rough transliterations of what the name actually sounds like .. my guess is oo ih ah ga leh lay .. or close to that
I believe you are correct when you say it would take someone to play badly. Alabama were 49.5 favorites, I don't believe Bryce Young will struggle. He probably won't play much after the first series of the third quarter. I am still not convinced on Stroud and today probably won't help. I think i have a negative bias on Ohio state quarterbacks which is not fair. Honestly I have not watched him play that much. The only QB I want to watch live because of his wonderful plumage is McCaw. If you have any secrets on how I can watch that game please tell me. If that is a taboo subject reply to my email. Anyway I am on board the hype train. I feel like you have let us in on a very well kept secret. I have managed to watch some of his highlights and he looks like the point gaurd Pete Carrol would like. My only concern is his listed 198lbs. I would feel better if he could tip the scales by training camp at 212. Durability is a major factor. He can take a hit but 15 pounds of muscle would give him a little more protection.
I believe that we'll need the #1 overall pick to get Bryce Young, and I doubt our (or the Broncos') record will give us that. I had thought that Jacksonville, Jets, Cardinals, Lions and Bears would be willing to trade down if they got that selection seeing as they should have faith in their young QBs, but starting to doubt that many of them would pass on Young at this point, and the Cards wouldn't want us to have him. So I'm loving the fantasy of drafting BPA in our first 2-4 picks and picking a QB up late. McCall being that QB, ideally. But his stock is bound to rise if he keeps winning games and playing near-perfect football, surely.
This season was the most excited I've been about the draft in ages, and I think the organization did a splendid job. Next season is going to be an even better haul with another 1st. There are going to be some bumps this season but the roster is getting reloaded with young talent so quickly I can't help but feel really optimistic about the direction of the franchise. Go Hawks!!!
I agree with all the teams you named but for the lions. Perhaps he does an Eli Manning or John Elway and tells the he won't play with them only the Hawks !
Are we discounting Stetson Bennett just because Georgia is so good?

Bo Nix had a pretty good game on the weekend. Not even on your list?
It's very hard to evaluate QBs when major top 20 teams are playing the Little Orphans of the Poor and the No. Iowa School for the Deaf.
Young is number one. I hope Schneider can trade up with 2 ones and 2 two's to work with!
I would.be surprised if Levi's gets into the 1st round. Every year there's always a 1st round sleeper.
Should be interesting.

Your negative feelings about Ohio State QBs is well deserved. They suck in the pros.
