after buying a Retro Starter jacket last year (that I couldn't afford in my youth) and then seeing them in those jerseys this year, things are coming around full circle. Silver Green and Blue, totemic helmets rule. The silver pants go with everything. I'm not a big fan of the Hasselbeck era. They looked like deep sea divers.
The Bleacher Report article was (is?) from NOVEMBER 15, 2011 and was a little behind on the weird Color Rush Green Uni's, but was otherwise a fun read. I like the Matt Hasselbeck era uniforms (2002-2011) the best.
That Bleacher Report article on the history of the uniforms was interesting. It did strike me as funny that they only had black & white photos of the original unis from 1976 and the 80's, as if it was so long ago that there was no color photography, or something. Odd choice. We're not THAT old, man! Stop trolling!
Remember those Barbizon commercials?
I mean, if it's throwback surely Thursday should be Toy Story 2, and Friday should be Memento. aka. Toymento!
*sighs* Well I guess I know what I'm spending my Xmas bonus on...
I remember feeling the the original uniforms made them look slow. The grey pant and black shoes = 4.9 forty times… that is till Curt Warner came along

Until they were about six years old, my kids absolutely believed there was no color in the world until about 1942.
Also, that rain was caused by birds popping the clouds as they flew. And that bubbles in the ocean were from fish sneezing.
My promo code didn't work.
Whoops, Ben Franklin's not a president, he's a department store! ;-)
Didn't Franklin get arrested for checking kites?
I can always blame my mistakes on the fact that I only pay attention to Seahawks history. For the fans!
You probably should have stopped at the kite. Ol' Ben Franklin is more well-known than most of the early Presidents, though.
