Based on the commentary about Gino, it appears you think he only has a few good years left in him. As far as I am concerned, we should sign Geno to a five-year contract structured in such a way that in reality it is a three-year contract.
I say this because imho he has quite a few years of high quality play ahead in himself.
Based on this belief and assumption, I would be in favor of drafting a QB in 25 but not 24 or 23.
Makes so much sense that Pete/John probably have it in the works. More than likely the only question is "how much cash?" . Great analysis Kenneth. Keep on hammering on the offseason issues.
Ken, you continue to impress with your realistic analization and clear presentation of some of the many complicated aspects of what the Hawks COULD or CAN do in their efforts of building and fielding a team to compete for the illusive Lombardy. Your dedication, hard work along with the consistency of providing it deserves far more recognition and rewards. From myself and I'm sure all your other subscriber's THANK YOU for all you do!
Four years is a long time. In football world, a 4 year anniversary is celebrated with what? Silver Cleats? Wooden Helmet? Whatever it is, kudos to you.
I detest disagreement with my Seahawks savant, KenJoe - however,
your arithmetic fell short,
1,461 days are required to reach 4 years,
you leaped early this time,
premature publication!

I don't intend anyone to infer that I've said that about Geno Smith. If anything, you should infer that I wouldn't care for five more years like 2022.

Thanks Larry!
Makes sense to me no matter what the plan at QB is..

Thank you Willy!
We HAVE to sign Nwosu. He and Woolen were probably the only consistent bright spots on the defense all last year.
Happy Anniversary Ken!

Thanks Doug! I'm not sure, but the fifth-year option does sound good haha.
C'mon, you celebrate with the Fifth-Year Option i.e. everyone subscribes and pays the man what he's worth!
