I love to get hyped about the Seahawks. Hey, I’m a fan! But it’s so true that schedule has a lot to do with success/performance. I’ll take all the wins, but wins against NY and Carolina are not predictive of wins against the better teams.

In the other thread the Schlerth article was referenced (I am sorry I forgot who posted about it) but the gist is that if your QB gets sacked like Jones was sacked (like Spinal Tap the Seahawks turned it up to 11) the playcaller should be fired. Now that the Seahawks have demonstrated that they have a dangerous front 7, it is unlikely they get the opportunity to accumulate that many again.

But... the Seahawks have gone 3-1 without putting up a complete game on the offensive side of the ball. The D has shown what it can do (and may still significantly improve as the secondary gets more time together--that was the first Witherspoon + Riq game and Adams hardly played.)

The Seahawks still own the Superbowl Elder Wand and they won't give it up without a fight!
